Yes, for every Product or Service in your MBO account FlexBooks will create a corresponding Product or Service in QuickBooks Online.

When does FlexBooks create my QuickBooks Online Products and Services?

FlexBooks will create your QuickBooks Online Products and Services as they are needed to create transactions in QuickBooks Online.

How does FlexBooks create my QuickBooks Online Products and Services?

FlexBooks will name the QuickBooks Online Products and Services exactly as they are named in MBO and it will map them to an Income Account named exactly as it is named in its corresponding MBO Revenue Category.

How does FlexBooks record discounts?

When a sale in Mindbody has a discount, FlexBooks records the item at its full price and adds the discount as its own line on the same sales receipt, named "Discount - " followed by the item's name. Every discount line goes to an income account called "Discounts".

So your Profit and Loss shows your full-price sales in each income account, and everything you gave away in discounts on its own line. You can see exactly what your discounts cost you each month without digging through individual sales.

Sales tax is worked out on the discounted price, the same way Mindbody charges it.

How does FlexBooks record tips?

Mindbody records a tip as its own item, called "Tip". FlexBooks syncs it like any other item: a "Tip" line on the sale, in the income account named after its Mindbody revenue category.

Does FlexBooks sync my inventory?

By default, FlexBooks does not pull initial inventory numbers out of MBO and/or make any daily adjustments to your inventory in QuickBooks Online. This is so we can sync your sales whether or not you've implemented the QuickBooks Online Inventory feature and because we don't recommend using QuickBooks Online to manage your inventory unless you're a trained QuickBooks Online professional.
