Can I Map My Stripe Income?

Can I map my products and services to an account other than "Stripe Sales”?

Yes!  FlexBooks will set up a Product or Service in QBO for each of your Stripe Products or Services and map it by default to a "Stripe Sales" Income Account.
If you want to map that product/service to a different Income Account – all you have to do is re-map it in QBO from the Products and Services Screen to a new Income Account.  From then on, every time FlexBooks syncs that product/service, it'll use your new Income Account mapping.
To change the mapping of your Products & Services:
  1. In QBO, Click the Gear icon > Products and Services.
  2. Find the product or service item you'd like to map and click Edit (to the far right).
  3. From the Income Account drop-down list, select a new Income Account
  4. If you want all previous uses of the item to also be changed, select "Also update this account in historical transactions”
  5. Click “Save and close" 

Can I map my “Stripe Fees” to a different account?

Unfortunately, FlexBooks cannot map “Stripe Fees” to a different account at this time.

Why doesn’t FlexBooks have a mapping screen?

There is a mapping screen, but it's inside of QuickBooks – not FlexBooks itself!  All of the mapping is done from QBO’s Products and Services Page (found by clicking on the Gear icon, then "Products and Services”).
To change the mapping of your Products & Services:
  1. In QBO, Click the Gear icon > Products and Services.
